Upward Cheerleading Game 1
Yesterday was Jaina's first cheerleading experience of this season of Upward sports. And my first experience as a coach at a game! It went very smoothly and I was SO proud of the girls on my squad.
Just hanging out immediately before our scheduled game is about to start! The girls were a tad bit nervous because they didn't quite know what to expect, but quickly got over their fears when they saw how fun it was to yell loudly in the gym :)
I gave the girls some last minute instructions before the basketball game began.
At half-time, the girls performed the four cheers they knew best.
After the game, we all went to lunch at Chick-fil-a as a family.
This is going to be a great season!
Oh! And Thank YOU to my mom who was nice enough to wrangle Jayce AND take pictures for me! This game I let her use my kit lens on the Program setting. I think next week I'll have her shoot with my 50mm on Aperture Priority mode because of the lighting in there.

Oh, what fun!!! You must be so proud of Jaina and the girls on your squad. I think it is such a cool experience coaching a team... and all the more cool that your daughter's in it. :)
