Day Brightener

I'm thankful to say that my Monday and my Tuesday were total polar opposites. For as busy as I was on Monday, that's how lazy I was today. And I loved every minute of it!

Jaina stayed home sick with her cold. Honestly, not getting her up and out the door to school would probably be my #1 reason if I ever decided to homeschool! We watched Cinderella, Cinderella 2: Dreams Do Come True, and Cinderella 3: Twist in Time. I'm happy to report that she's feeling much better tonight and is not reaching for the tissue box every 5 seconds :)

When Jayce wasn't in a therapy session, he played a lot of Lego Batman on the Wii today. I think he needed this day to decompress. Its so hard to have such a fixated interest that you only get to be involved in a few minutes a day and are constantly being told, "No" to. So, today was a "yes" day for Wii.

I chatted with so many friends on the phone today :) My support system! How I love to talk on the phone :) It felt great!

My friend Jessica K. came by after lunch today, braving the germ infested house. Because Jaina was home sick today, I had to miss my local MOPS meeting that happens 2 times a month. The craft today was making wire and bead earrings and I hated knowing that I was going to miss it. I made such a comment on my FB status and lo and behold, Tarah and Jessica made some earrings for me :) They are gorgeous!! Thanks ladies!

Despite being lazy today, I'm super tired already! So, I'm off to bed. Tomorrow needs to be a back-to-normal middle of the road kinda day! No more slacking and no more running around! Ha! Wonder who will end up sick tomorrow? :)

  4. Here's hoping Jaina gets back in tiptop shape by tomorrow.

I know what you mean about saying yes once in a while just so we don't say no all the time! :)

  5. I don't know why but I always feel more exhausted after a lazy day. Such a strange feeling!

By the way, the blackout drapes have not made a difference in the morning...up with the sun just like you said. But afternoon naps have improved a bit! =)
