Biltmore: Sunflowers

While the guys and kids held our place in line, my neighbor Tiffany and I headed down to the sunflower field next to Antler Hill Village.

Seeing rows and rows of sunflowers always has the same effect on me.

"Why do MY sunflowers never turn out like this?"

Oh, wait.

I forgot for a moment that I have a black thumb.

It just makes me appreciate these even more :)

  2. Great photos! The annual sunflower patch at Biltmore is one of my favorite places (though I'm slightly biased, :).
    Thanks for sharing.

  3. They are just stunning. So lovely! I absolutely can't get enough! This reminded me that I took some sunflower pictures this summer and never edited them! I am SO behind in editing... Will I ever catch up? Hope you have a wonderful day!

  6. These are great! I just realized our sunflowers should be in season here now too...but I haven't seen any yet. :( Need to keep my eyes out because I'd love to get some portraits in the sunflowers this year.
