Moving on...

Its no use. I'm just giving up. There's no way in the world I'm going to get caught up blogging. I could make 15 separate posts from our week in Atlanta for Thanksgiving. Which was now 2 full weeks ago. So, I'm doing the mentally healthy thing and just letting it all go.

I'm going to be realistic. Although I have great intentions, I'm probably never going to publish this  blog into a book. Seriously, I've been blogging since 2006! Do you know how expensive that would be?

So, moving on!

Oh, but wait. Let me backtrack a bit.

It was my birthday on November 28th :) I'm 32 now. I can't forget because Jayce tells me every day. :)

The kids spoiled me with a chocolate carvel ice cream cake! Those are the BEST! Hmm, I wonder if there is a piece leftover in the freezer. That sounds really good right now.

And although I did not get the present I really wanted (was a positive pregnancy test really too much to ask for?), my husband did support my photography addiction   habit by buying me a 24mm f/2.8 wide angle lens.

It rocks :)

Just to give you some perspective, I was standing in our driveway when I took that picture. I would have had to stand in our next door neighbor's yard to get the whole tree in with my 50 mm. I love that tree and often want to photograph it. Yum... sunflare :)

Oh, and I also bought myself some cheap (I mean REALLY cheap) cheesy lenses that attach onto another lens (because they have no mount) on amazon.

I bought a fisheye lens:

And a macro lens:

They have been super fun to play with :)

Oh, and we put our tree up and all that jazz. I haven't uploaded my decoration pics yet. But here's a couple of Jaina in front of the tree.

Poor child has my ears that stick out. And my butt. And my nose. At least she can grow her hair out if she wants to! Not sure what to do about the rest of my genetics :)
