Too Many Donuts

Don't you just love the stage of pregnancy where all your regular clothes don't fit, most maternity stuff is too big still, and people keep glancing at your midsection trying to determine if you really are pregnant or just ate way too many donuts?

Yep, that's me at 8 weeks pregnant when this photo was taken in my bedroom mirror. I had just received my mail ordered Jason Mraz shirts that day and I wanted to try them on to see if I could get by wearing them for at least a few weeks.

Sigh. I think I'll put this shirt up for a while and stick with loose flowing tops that hide my 3rd baby bulge that seemed to be there as soon as I got a positive on the pregnancy test.

And for all you lucky women who didn't have to wear maternity clothes until weeks 16-20?

You may not comment :)

  1. What about those who are not pregnant, yet look like they're 20 weeks along? Uh, that would be me!

  6. I COMPLETELY understand! I really thought I was having twins when pregnant with Juliet. Yes, I found out I was pregnant and my regular clothes no longer fit. I had a sweet friend loan me all these cute draw string pants to make due. Enjoy even the sick days as it really goes so fast in retrospect.

  8. Ha! I'm not sure if I made it completely out of maternity clothes after my 3rd before I got pregnant with my 4th :) Ruby is 18 months old now and while I have been able to get rid of all things maternity I am still trying to drop the last of the baby weight! I'll be 40 in Feb. so my new personal slogan is 30 by 40. Lose 30 lbs. by the 40th b-day!
