Play Bug Gym

These photos were taken the week after Easter. I can't believe how much Jocelyn has grown since then!

When we first brought the activity mat home, she would stare and coo at the hanging butterfly, lady bug, and bumble bee.

Then she started gaining control over her hands in order to bat at them.

Now, in just a few short weeks, she's learned to grab the toys and try to get them to her mouth. She also can kick the padded support bars of the gym in order to make the butterfly play its song. Jocelyn can scoot on her back and turn around in a circle. And just a few days ago, she showed me that she can roll from her back to her tummy, but has seemed to forgotten how to get back off her stomach :)

She's growing way too fast. Spring is such a busy time for us with Jayce's birthday, Mother's Day, Jaina's Birthday, Memorial day, Field Day, end of school year awards and parties. She'll be 4 months old when school gets out and that's just two weeks away.

When Jaina was a baby, I wanted her to hurry up and reach her next milestone. When Jayce was a baby, I was too busy with Jaina to worry about his milestones. With Jocelyn, I celebrate her milestones as much as I mourn them. I absolutely love this baby stage and don't want it to end any time soon.
