Jocelyn turned 11 months the day after Christmas.
I took her 11 month picture this morning.
Not only am I the queen of procrastination, but I also may be a little bit in denial that my baby will be turning a year old in less than 3 weeks.
That's it. I'm just going to have to have another one.
(just kidding, Brian)
So, my baby, who really isn't a tiny infant any more, is doing so much these days.
-crawls on hands and knees on carpet and army crawls on her belly on the hardwood floor.
-pulls up to her knees
-tries to climb up the stairs
- says "Daddy", "bottle", "Uh-oh", "Moo", and growls like a dog "Grrrr" consistently and spontaneously.
-will mimic us when we say "five", "Jaina", "Jayce", "momma", "cat", "dog".
-just had a huge growth spurt and is in 12-18 month clothes
- weighs 20 lbs, 8 oz according to the scale in the ER (more about this later!)
-has blue eyes still and light brown hair that looks blond in the sun
-has four teeth: two top, two bottom
-holds her sippy cup and bottle
-slept through the night, 12 hours, for exactly one week. Then Christmas came and sickness and travel and that was the end of that.
-takes two naps
-is liking table food better.
-will eat rice, chicken, green beans, apples, and cantalope
-ate scrambled eggs from Denny's, but won't touch mine from home.
-loves her monkey more than any other stuffed animal
-plays with each and every one of her new toys from Christmas every day.
