Before and After Blog Hop

Its Thursday, so it must be time for "Before and After" with Monica! :)

And I have no idea why that sentence is a link. Hmmm. Oh well! Go check out Pixel Perfect for more editing fun!

Okay, this was a tough one.

But I finally picked this picture to post:

Eek! Can we say "under exposed??"

(taken with Canon Rebel XTi at 1/800 and  f/4 and ISO 200 with my prime 85 lens)

So, I used Picasa. Cause you all know I suck at Photoshop :)

I'm not crazy about the skin tone in this edit, but I'm learning!

  8. That was a great edit... you definitely corrected the lighting. :)

Picasa is actually a wonderful editing tool. That's what I've been using before I finally bit the bullet and learned Photoshop. I still go back to Picasa occasionally for quick fixes... but seriously, do learn Photoshop. You can do so much! :) I was a bit overwhelmed when I first started, because there are just SO many functions, etc. but wow, to have all those at your fingertips when you need them. There are plenty of online tutorials, so check them out. :)
