Don't Call Me Jocelyn.

Three years old seems to be the age where dress up play and imagination really takes flight.

I remember my 3 year old Jaina pretending to be a fairy, a disney princess, a butterfly, a ballerina, and a bride. The fancier, the better. Oh, and don't forget the accessories!

Although Jaina forced Jayce into wearing plenty of princess crowns, when he was finally able to understand the whole "I can choose what I want to dress up as" concept, he picked super heroes.

(He didn't want me taking his picture in that last one!)

Anyway, Jocelyn dresses up just as much as her brother and sister did at this age. Yet, she has her own unique way of doing it ;)

She likes to dress up like her favorite characters from all the TV shows she loves. And yes, we know she watches a lot of TV. She does other things, too! :)

There's Pink Minnie Mouse of course:

And Red Minnie Mouse:

And then there's Finn:

But she REALLY likes to dress up like her Yo Gabba Gabba Friends.

Toodee:

Brobee:

Foofa:

Plex:
And Muno:

(In Jocelyn's mind, you just have to match the color of your shirt to "be" a character. Whew, that just saved us a ton of money on dress up clothes.)

She's also Chase from Paw Patrol:

And you've seen plenty of Snoopy:

And sometimes she likes to be a little wolf named Wolfie:

The question around our house isn't "what do you want to wear today?"

No, its, "Who do you want to be today?"

And I'm loving it.

  1. That's so cute! I was really wondering how you would get her a Yo Gabba Gabba! costume. Haha, thank goodness all it takes is a shirt!
