I could never live in Seattle

Well, my friends, those are the last pictures I have taken on my camera. The fun and festivities of outdoor play abruptly ended on Thursday of last week. Since Thursday, it has been cold (40's), overcast, and raining non-stop. Even as I type this at 4:18 PM on Monday afternoon, the same descriptions apply. Oh, wait... I'm sorry. Its now up to a balmy 54 degrees. What an improvement. Note the sarcasm please.

Weather affects me greatly. I need to see and feel the sun on a daily basis to feel energized and motivated. These past few days have made my energy level drag. I've barely gotten out of my PJ's on most days. Our weekend sucked. Because of the weather, all the fun St. Patrick's Day stuff got canceled. The outdoor birthday party we were invited to got moved to McDonald's. Any plans to go play mini-golf or go back to Chimney Rock were squashed.

However, all that is going to change!

Forecast for tomorrow:

TUESDAY
AREAS OF DENSE FOG IN THE MORNING. MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS
AROUND 70. NORTHEAST WINDS 5 TO 10 MPH.

I'll take some dense fog if we get to 70's tomorrow! YAY! My kids can wear the St. Patrick's Day shirts that are short sleeves!!!
