Not Me Monday
Its time for another addition of "Not Me Monday!"
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
Let's see...
What did I not do this past weekend. Well, I certainly did not make my husband brave Monkey Joe's for a birthday party because I had my own agenda instead. No, I'm always a lover of crowded noisy playplaces because of the joy it brings my children. It also certainly was not the only time in the last 6 months my kids had been there, despite going weekly last school year.
And when big sister was extremely disappointed that she could not go to the birthday party as well, I certainly did not bribe her with a Polly Pockets toy from Walmart to make it up to her. Nope, not me! My children handle disappointment with grace and do not need bribes for good behavior.
I also did not get upset when my daughter's room looked like this

exactly 2 hours after cleaning it. My house is always kept clean and tidy and my children know how to pick up after themselves.
Right, right. My house stays spotless, also and my husband wouldn't dream of dragging his hunting supplies out in the living room floor while I'm gone (after I spent 2 days cleaning) and leave the mess to greet my guests and me as we walked in the door...
ReplyDeleteHi. Just one SC mom hopping over from My Charming Kids. Great post. My daughters room can look like a hurricane has hit shortly after cleaning it up also!!
ReplyDeleteLOL... Those second grade girls really know how to clean... ;o)
ReplyDeleteYour daughter's room might have been a mess, but it is BEAUTIFUL! WOW, that is a room for a princess. My daughter would be jealous (if she was old enough to understand that emotion, that is!).
