Labor Day Fun
Our weekend wasn't too terribly exciting, but we still had fun! On Saturday, Gray watched the kids so Brian and I could go out on a date. We choose to eat at the only Indian restaurant in town, but were sad to discover that they had changed owners. The food was still good, but the atmosphere had changed a bit. Then we went to play trivia. We did not win. We never do!
Sunday was spend relaxing while Brian played cleaning lady at his co-workers home. Jaina spent the night at Grandma's while Jayce stayed up late playing computer.
On Monday, we had decided to play mini-golf here in town. Only both mini-golf places were closed for Labor Day. So, we went to Monkey Joe's instead. After jumping and sliding for 2 hours, we ate lunch, went home and rested. Then we packed some snacks and our bikes and headed over to Brian's work. The parking lot was bare, as we had hoped, and the perfect place to ride bikes. The kids had a blast! Then we walked down to the lake for a picnic and some soccer practice. It was a great day!
