So far behind

I cannot wait for this week to be over! Between baking for both Jaina AND Jayce's classroom parties this coming Thursday and baking for the MOMS Club cookie exchange tomorrow, I am so done. If I never see another brownie, cookie, or cheesecake in my life, I'll be good. I also have to clean my house for tomorrow, and I mean "company clean". I went ahead and steam cleaned the couch. The water it picked up was orange from the damn red clay we have here tracked in by our lovely dog. Disgusting. I can't believe I sit on that thing. And the kids bathroom? Desperately in need of cleaning! Add that to my list, too. And do you think I should hide the 4 loads of clean laundry or actually put it away before tomorrow at 4 PM?

If you couldn't have told, I am kinda freaking out a bit. I'm not done Christmas shopping, I have to buy and mail presents to Florida (Melissa, I STILL don't know what to get the boys, nothing I find seems "right" to me!), I'm stressing about what to get Brian because I don't think my budget will allow me to buy him what I want. Ugh. Shouldn't the holidays be about relaxing with the family and the joy of giving?

Things should settle down next week. After Friday, no school for the kids, no work for Brian, and no commitments for me!! :)

  2. Hey Jess! Rachel & kids are still here - just their stuff has moved. They're going to Florida for the Christmas holidays & then will be back at my house. They're moving to Kim's the first week of January to start school there. Good luck getting all your shopping, baking & cleaning done!

  4. I would hide the laundry.
Tell Brian your working on the gift and then flirt with him or something.
I am sure your house will look great and everything will come together.
I agree, next week will be much better, I hope :)

I am baking cookies for presents and will spend more money shipping them then the actual cost of baking them *LOL*

Justin can use a tea set, he loves to play with Joshua's set, but it's ceramic and some of the pieces broke . I think the sets may be too big to ship though. He likes things he can pretend play with. Matchbox little sets. I just got him the Fire Station set with collapsible bridge. If you ask him what he wants he will say "A big Jeep with blue stripes I can drive in."

Joshua likes Science, planes and boats. He just told me to tell you that. HTH

    Good luck with everything.
