Build-a-Bear Tuesdays at the beach

So, the whole "blogging at the beach" thing didn't work out so well. We were kinda busy doing the vacation thing and I didn't have as much free time as I originally thought I would have.

Oh, well. Such is life :)

We have a tradition at the beach. We always go to Broadway at the Beach (Myrtle Beach) on the Tuesday of our vacation. Supposedly this is when Build-a-Bear is the least crowded. People have been known to wait HOURS outside the building in the heat to make a stuffed animal. Um, no. I don't think so. We get there a little after 10, wait in line inside less than 30 minutes, then get on with our day.

Even Jocelyn got to make a bear! Her first ever Build-a-Bear! Just think... when she's Jaina's age, she'll have ten of these things.

Jayce made a stingray instead.

I know it looks very much like a cat, but Jaina's tie-dye animal really is a bear. With long lashes.

After making our new stuffed animals (that we needed like we need a hole in our heads!), we headed over to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch.

Next up was the Wonder Works museum. Also known as the "Upside Down House". I left my good camera in the car and relied on Brian's iPhone for pictures. Which are still on his phone. Oh well :) Just know that we went!

When we got home, I took some pictures of Jocelyn out on the porch.

Poor little thing actually ran a fever all day on Tuesday. I suspected she had an ear infection on her left side since she spent most of the day tugging on it. Since we weren't near a Doctor's Care place and the CVS Minute Clinic wouldn't see babies under 6 mo old, we just rode it out. I'm happy to report that by Friday morning she was just fine. I guess that some ear infections really don't need antibiotics!
